The harsh winter has taken its toll on the metropolitan area golf courses.
Bethpage Black ,originally scheduled to open on April 11th, has once again moved their opening from April 25th to next Saturday, May 2nd. An easy, stress-free alternative is Douglaston Golf Course. The picture below shows a well-conditioned course that survived the severe winter and its greens and fairways are in superb condition- fast and firm. Kudos to the resident greens keeper, Dave!
Douglaston Golf Course is one of the best courses in NYC to play in spring.
